We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Storeperson to join our small, close-knit team in our Used Parts Warehouse department in our Campbellfield branch. This is a standard working week position, with some additional OT available, particularly over the first few months.
Responsibilities include:
Receiving incoming engine parts / assemblies from engines ranging from 2.8L to 78L
Stripping down parts / assemblies into individual parts and identifying those parts that need re-machining
Cleaning and assessing parts for our secondhand parts stores
Identification of parts upon receipt, identifying the correct parts number for them (some research required) and listing them in our stores inventory database (MoveEx)
Receive, list, label, and store individual HHP parts from our HHP branches
Contribute to arranging storage to optimize warehouse space
Undertake cycle counts and the annual stock control
Routine housekeeping tasks, compliance, and machine cleaning tasks
Operate manual and automated equipment (including a forklift), adhering to all health and safety guidelines
Work with internal and external stakeholders around inwards and outwards goods
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Previous warehousing experience and forklift licence is essential
Great hands-on mechanical aptitude
Safety first mentality
Experience with MoveEx or a similar stores inventory system and MS Office
Excellent attention to detail
Great time management, process driven and ability to prioritise
Ability to lift 20kg parcels/parts (on a rare basis)
Confident problem solver
Team player with initiative and aptitude for learning
Previous mechanical trade experience would be highly advantageous
