About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic energetic Store person who has the drive and ambition to join our operation at Cummins Emerald and forge a career in the automotive industry. You will be responsible for the timely and accurate receiving, picking and packing and dispatch of spare parts and components. This role also includes shared ownership for inventory control, store safety and providing best practice customer support.

Our Emerald branch is a high performing, mining and heavy on-highway focused operation encompassing workshop, field service and administrative support and pivotal component of our customer centric, market leading presence in the region.

About You

  • Be physically fit to perform warehouse duties

  • Very good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and procedures quickly

  • Essentially have well-developed written and verbal communication skills

  • Has a high level of attention to detail and confident problem solver

  • Have a proactive attitude and drive your own learning and development

  • Be eligible to be trained and certified with a forklift licence

  • Ideally some work experience in a Warehouse, Stores or Parts environment

  • Hold a valid drivers license

  • Have a strong focus on health and safety

the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Requires certification to operate powered industrial vehicles (reach trucks, order pickers, pallet

rider, etc.) and/or other heavy machinery.
