About the role:

Our Emerald branch is a high performing operation with a high mix of Mining & Automotive focus. With your strong leadership skills, you will manage the service operations in the branch via 3 direct reports.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage all service and admin operations including service staff and supervisors

  • Resolve the most complex business problems for those on the team

  • Manageservice logistics including use of materials, equipment, and employees ensuring safety, quality, and efficient operations

  • Develop employees and provide opportunities and feedback that enhance employee career growth

  • Review key performance indicators for service operations and addresses issues, opportunities, trends and initiate improvements

  • Establish positive and professional working relationships with key customers, acting as a point of escalation as require

About you:

  • A mechanical trades background, ideally in automotive

  • Experience in a leadership, supervisory or influencing role

  • Experience in heavy transport, fleet, automotive, mining or similar

  • An engaging leadership style with a genuine interest in motivating and influencing the team on an individual level

  • Able to ensure compliance requirements by positively engaging the team in the processes

  • Great communication skills with the ability to develop internal and external stakeholder relationships

  • A keen interest in developing your team to ensure a pipeline of progression for the branch leadership
