We are looking for a talented Parts Interpreter to join our teamto support both internal and external customers, with the sale and supply of parts, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently and with a focus on delivering exceptional customer support for our Kalgoorlie branch.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Provide world class service to our well-established customer base

  • Interpreting parts using Quickserve online

  • The selling and upselling of Cummins Parts as well as ordering and distribution

  • Work the front counter for a high performing branch – both face to face and by phone

  • Assist in the parts functions of inventory ordering, cycle counting and freight management

  • Maintain departmental KPI’s and focus on continuous improvement

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Previous Parts interpretation experience is highly desirable

  • A mechanical or technical background is preferred

  • High levels of customer service as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly motivated and a self-starter and be able to work as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits

Trade Knowledge Application - Applies knowledge of relevant trade regulations to Cummins processes and systems to minimize trade risks and costs.

Mode Selection - Evaluates and selects appropriate transportation mode and equipment type by lane through shipment volume analysis against business requirements to provide optimal shipping method (balance cost, quality and time).

Education, Licenses, Certifications

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports and advanced level computer skills.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
