We are looking for a talented Human Resources Leader– To support our Filtration team in the APAC region. This role will support our business leaders in the South Pacific and Southeast Asia region. The home base location is Kilsyth – Victoria.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Drives the HR strategy within the region, specifically South Pacific and South East Asia
Collaborate with business leaders in applying business and Human Resources functional knowledge to interpret the business environment, identify and prioritize current and future problems requiring solutions, and develop/implement initiatives to meet the business needs
Communicate and consult on all areas of human resources including compensation, benefits, staffing, organisational development, employee relations, and performance management
Build constructive relationships with employees and other stakeholders
Reinforce consistent application of Cummins standards and apply knowledge of employment and labour law, ensuring compliance to legislation and company policies and procedures
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Previous experience in a Leadership role
A strong understanding of HR processes and employment law
Experience in partnering with senior business leaders
Ideally with experience in South Pacific and South East Asia region
Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to deal with conflict situations in a rational and constructive manner
Proven negotiating and advocacy skills
Able to identify, analyse, formulate, and implement appropriate courses of action, advising managers appropriately
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with a diverse stakeholder group
An ability to network and engage people to achieve the objectives at hand
