Parts Interpreter


Cummins, Mildura are hiring!

As a Parts Interpreter, you’ll be based in our busy Mildura Branch where the focus is on our industry leading On-Highway engines and High Horse Power product range. Reporting to the Parts Manager, your role will be to support both internal and external customers, with the sale and supply of parts, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently and with a focus on delivering exceptional customer support.

About the role

  • Provide world class service to our well-established customer base

  • The selling and upselling of Cummins Parts

  • Assist in growing the customer base and gaining new business

  • Work the front counter for a high performing branch – both face to face and by phone

  • Assisting with parts deliveries

  • Assist in the parts functions of inventory ordering, cycle counting and freight management

  • Maintain departmental KPI’s and focus on continuous improvements

  • Support other functions in the branch when required

About you

  • High levels of customer service experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly motivated and a self-starter

  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Previous Parts interpretation experience is preferred

  • A current forklift license is preferred or willingness to obtain
