We are looking for a talented Maintenance Coordinator to join our Perth branch. The role is responsible for performing routine building maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures. The successful applicant will assist in a wide variety of maintenance activities, Health and Safety activities and Contractor Management.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Maintain safe work habits and actions in all aspects of the daily tasks

  • Utilize software to track, assign, and prioritize reactive, planned, preventative maintenance work and tool calibrations

  • Maintains housekeeping and safety in work areas; Upkeep on exterior yard. Service and maintenance of workshop equipment

  • Conducts minor repairs including plumbing in restrooms, floor repair & spill pickup, Ceiling and light fixture installation; Wall repair/patching, wall hanging and painting

  • Operates and maintains vehicle equipment such as fork truck, etc. Uses powered hand tools drills, grinders, etc. based on job needs

  • Complete monthly HSE Compliance activities, audits and meetings. Complete Contractor Management permits, including Working at Heights

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, with proven background of adhering to safety policies and procedures

  • First class communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with different audiences. Strong attention to detail and computer skills.

  • High risk licences eg working at heights, doggers/riggers, forklift would be favourable

  • Be able to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency
