About the role:

We are currently going through an exciting HR transformation and as a result, we have an enviable opportunity for an experienced Regional HR Manager to join our western region.Based in Perth and reporting to the Cummins South Pacific Distribution HR Leader, you’ll partner with business and lead a broad range of HR processes, plan and implement HR initiatives and policies. Your role will also include:

  • Support our Western region branches and business function units across WA, NT and SA

  • Partner with the business & HR functional leaders in planning & implementing HR initiatives & policies

  • Lead, coach, mentor & support 1 HR Advisor

  • Be responsible for overall operational effectiveness & compliance

  • Support managers and employees to resolve issues and concerns

  • Establish strategies select and retain diverse talent

  • Collaborate with business leaders on business goals and develop initiatives and tactics

  • Coach and counsel on human resources matters

  • Communicate and consult on all areas of human resources

About you

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven experience working in global or regional businesses

  • A minimum 8-10 years’ experience in HR leadership roles

  • Experience within a similar industry is highly desirable

  • Experience of working within a large, global organisation is essential

  • Experience within both unionised and non-unionised environment is advantageous

  • Resilient and a positive attitude

  • Flexibility to travel as the business requires
