We are looking for a talented Sales Executive to join our team in Perth to focus on growth of top line sales for our Off-Highway business (Mining, Commercial Marine, Agriculture, Irrigation and Forestry) to cover Western Australia and Northern Territory. You will work in partnership with another Sales Executive for the region to maximise opportunities. There will be some travel throughout the region required.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Significant management of long-term key accounts. Prospect and develop new opportunities to grow the business. Independently develop/execute account plans to build customer relationships and achieve sales goals within the assigned sales territory, market segment or channel partners.

  • Understand customer needs and priorities and offer Cummins solutions and executes account plans for top prospects and conducts agreed upon face to face sales calls.

  • Conduct negotiations according to company guidelines, including payment terms. Assist with collection of accounts receivables when needed.

  • Drive sales, achieving financial sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain and strengthen customer relationships to generate future sales and repeat business. Respond to customer concerns in a timely fashion.

  • Report activity via the Customer Relationship Management tool per management direction. Produce sales forecasts as directed.

  • Consistently use the Cummins Sales Process as well as Cummins tools, processes, and initiatives that support sales, customer satisfaction, and customer value, e.g., Customer Relationship Management and special projects.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Previous sales and account management experience – ideally from a similar industry

  • Solid track record of achieving financial goals and managing accounts

  • World class communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and develop new business

  • Demonstrated customer service experience and proven track record of developing relationships to drive results
