Storeperson/Parts Administrator - Perth MRC


About the role

Cummins, Perth is Hiring! As our Store Person in the Perth Master Rebuild Centre, your focus will be on completing warehousing and administration/clerical activities supporting the MRC. The role will be split between working in the office and the warehouse.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Pick and deliver parts/kits from the warehouse/receiving to the build area.

  • Perform regular Core Management process and procedures.

  • Process/reconcile credits for returned engine parts

  • Data entry of parts requests and follow up on arrival/inspection of parts in coordination with the Parts Interpreter and Stores

  • Support with clerical duties required to facilitate processing of engines

  • Undertake housekeeping duties to ensure work area is maintained, cleaned and safe.

  • Promote customer service excellence by ensuring all interactions with customers (both internal and external) are efficient and effective

  • Work with minimal supervision and demonstrate an internal customer focus to ensure accurate performance is achieved

About you:

  • A current Forklift licence

  • Demonstrated ability in written and verbal communication

  • High attention to detail

  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office – intermediate Excel)

  • Previous warehousing and admin experience is advantageous

  • Be able to learn new systems and procedures quickly

  • Demonstrated ability to work within a broadly diverse environment

  • Driver’s license is highly desirable

  • Engine parts knowledge and experience, technical orientation

  • Knowledge of Movex (or other ERP system) is beneficial

  • Ability to work un-supervised and willingness and flexibility to work reasonable overtime

  • Commitment to undertaking all work safely and efficiently
