Workshop Maintenance Co-ordinator

We are seeking a Workshop Maintenance Coordinator to assist with a wide range of maintenance activities within our Perth branch. Working autonomously, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and tidy working environment. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders therefore, excellent communication skills are a key requirement for this appointment.
About the role:
Co-ordinate freight movements within the yard
Co-ordinate external sub-contractors for maintenance repairs
Organise site inductions and paperwork for sub-contractors
General housekeeping and safety in work areas
Perform minor maintenance repairs
Operate equipment – forklift, elevated platforms etc
Maintain safe work habits and actions in all daily tasks
Maintain and develop relationships with internal stakeholders

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following:
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
Experience in a similar role
First class safety awareness
Ability to perform minor maintenance repairs
Solid IT skills
First Aid/Fire warden experience is desirable
Rigging/working at heights licences are desirable
