We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pricing Analyst to join our team. You will play an important role in improving pricing execution and developing commercial opportunities. This role will suit a commercially minded individual with strong analytical skills who enjoys interacting with a wide stakeholder set.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Ensuring rigorous execution of pricing strategies across the diverse Cummins Asia-Pacific customer base

  • Providing pricing advice and support on tenders, customer offers and responses

  • Working with sales and account leads and branch managers to determine appropriate customer pricing models and approaches

  • Identifying process improvement and simplification opportunities

  • Leading and participating in pricing improvement projects; developing outcome and pricing improvements.

  • Acting as a centre of expertise for customer pricing in both current and future ERP system

  • Providing pricing input and perspective on projects and programs both within Pricing and cross-functionally.

  • Monitoring key pricing metrics and competitor and market activity

  • Taking the lead on coaching and mentoring less experienced pricing analysts and interns

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, ideally providing pricing or commercial analytical support in a B2B, product based business

  • University, or equivalent degree in Finance, Marketing, Strategy, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline

  • Financial and commercial understanding

  • Proficiency in Excel, handling and analysing large data sets efficiently is a must

  • Ability to deal with a large number of stakeholders daily and to understand commercial context while simultaneously managing the fine details of pricing offers

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to build relationships that foster credibility, trust, and cooperation.

  • Experience in any of Movex, SQL, and/or SAP S4/HANA advantageous but not essential
