About the role

We are looking for a Service Manager to join our dynamic team in the Cummins Support Centre. Based in Scoresby at our state of the art National Head Office, this is a relationship focused leadership role, managing a team of 17 technicians working a 24/7 rotational roster.

With a strong mechanical background, this people leader will empower and support team members in providing legendary Service and Support across a variety of market segments. Strong project management skills will allow for effective roll out and support of global and regional projects. You have accountability for creating and maintaining Right Work Environment, leading sustained growth through the provision of world-class support across all market types, whilst ensuring operational efficiency. This role is also responsible for providing centralised support to emerging technologies.

Other tasks include:

  • Champion Cummins leadership behaviours, mission, vision and values

  • Overseeing management of breakdown events and proactively manage FST (Field Service Technician) safety

  • Provide support on a range of Cummins Service programs to internal staff members

  • Identify, develop and implement opportunities and plans to drive departmental growth, while maintaining a seamless, easy customer experience on all interactions

About you

  • Relevant Trade Qualification or equivalent

  • Understanding of service management or workshop management

  • Demonstrated leadership experience including previous experience in managing and leading teams

  • Committed to providing exceptional customer service to customers

  • Dedicated to building the, ‘Right Work Environment’, including a focus on Health, Safety and Environment

  • Current valid driving license
