We are looking for a talented Parts Supervisor to join our Tamworth team. This role is a pivotal position in supporting Cummins Tamworth as we continue to grow whist supporting our large Mining, Automotive and Industrial market segments within the New England and Western NSW Regional Areas.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Ongoing coaching, mentoring and support of the high performing Parts team of 6
Oversee the parts and warehouse for our Tamworth branch including managing stock levels, inventory records, stock takes, updating database, compliance, receiving goods, packaging and arrange storage in warehouse to optimise space
Maintain and build on relationships with customers to provide a ‘world class’ standard of customer service every time.
Manage customer agreements for pricing/service/escalations
Process customer orders and parts interpreting.
Sustain current customer sales and support whilst proactively seeking all opportunities for continued growth within the New England and Western NSW regional areas.
Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations, promoting a safe work environment and model an interdependent safety culture
Achieving measurables and operational efficiencies, sales targets, margins and KPI’s
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Previous experience in a part’s transactional or warehouse role, with solid understanding of maintaining stock levels and inventory records
The Ability to lead with demonstrated supervisory experience
Experience building and maintaining a strong team culture
Strong organisation and decision-making skills
Be solutions focused with the ability to problem solve and display a high level of competency with core work skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills with a proven track record of building strong relationships and offering customer-centric solutions
Strong commercial acumen with focus on efficiency, implementation, analytics, and reporting.
Compensation and Benefits
Base hourly rate commensurate with experience. Overtime penalties. Participation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) program. Salary continuance insurance.
