Workshop Supervisor - Darwin


  • Hourly rate OT annual bonus benefits

Cummins, Darwin are hiring!

We are seeking an experienced workshop supervisor to join our Darwin branch. This key appointment will be responsible for coordinating Truck Bay (Workshop) activities whilst providing direction to a team of dedicated technicians and apprentices.

Key Responsibilities…

  • Lead, mentor and coach 4 technicians and 5 apprentices

  • Overseeing repairs and sign off on Technicians work

  • Manage repair strategy and the coordination of parts support

  • Take charge in allocating jobs to staff and ensure timely completion

  • Maintain tools register

  • Lead tool box meetings

  • Ensure tidiness and the upkeep of the workshop and equipment

  • Lead diagnostic support and escalation process improvement activities

  • Provide ‘hands-on’ support to workshop staff when required

  • Adheres to all HSE policies and procedures

About You…

To succeed in this role, you must have the following:

  • Proven supervisory/leadership experience with a strong technical background

  • Significant experience in a workshop environment

  • A certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Trade – highly desirable

  • Possess significant Heavy Diesel experience – highly advantageous

  • Strong leadership and people management skills

  • Motivated towards developing a high performing and professional team

  • Commitment to safety and exceptional customer service
