About the role
At Cummins a Mechanical Apprentice undertaking a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR31116), you will receive both formal and on the job training, on your journey towards becoming a fully qualified Cummins Technician.
Along with your formal TAFE/RTO study, you will gain practical experience with Cummins engines and heavy vehicles, as well as product specific training with our very own Cummins Technical Trainers. At Cummins, everything we do is underpinned by our commitment to safety and collaboration.
Cummins are looking for applicants with the following preferred attributes:
Enthusiastic and ambitious individuals
A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Completed or currently enrolled in Year 12 preferable or
Completion or near completion of a pre-apprenticeship or relevant vocational training
Good level of language, literacy and numeracy skills
The ability to work well as part of a team
Part time or full time work experience in any field of work would be desirable
Right to work in Australia
